EXCIPIENTS FOR SUPPOSITORY AND OVULE MASS
Over the machines, over the shells we decided to complete the full production cycle introducing excipients for suppositories and ovules. It is a base according to the current monographs “hard fat, adeps solidus”, PH. EUR. and “hard fat”, USP-NF. They are white, odourless hard fats in pastille shape and comprise of glycerides of plant origin. Available over 15 different types.
NEW EXCIPIENTS FOR OVULE MASS
EXCIPIENTS BS2X
It is a mass for suppositories also widely used in vaginal ovules. Its main characteristic is hydrophilicity and its ability to emulsify in the presence of water, in fact after using the ovule it melts and emulsifies, covering the vaginal wall.
This allows for excellent dispersion of the active ingredients, better coverage of the vaginal mucosa, thus ensuring greater effectiveness of the active ingredients.
EXCIPIENTS 3460
It is a more complex product in its composition than ‘hard fat’, given that it contains several ingredients, and has a lower melting point than suppository masses.
It guarantees excellent dispersibility of the active ingredient and is highly tolerated by the mucous membranes.
